The crown is a gently folded conical shape, featuring the lighter band of felt going through the middle in a slanted way. At one side there is a shiny fuchsia fabric bow that ties two matching fuchsia feathers which project upwards towards the front. What an amazingly elegant look! Throughout the 1950s, ladies wore hats daily as a part of their attire as was a pair of gloves. To preserve its market, the millinery industry set about creating variety and extravagance. They were now touted as the essential accessory to complete the ensemble. Label: Union made...the printing inside the hat is not completely legible, but it states the furry felt is imported.
